Where to mount my GPS?

Riding a 2020 Versys 1000 and sorting out where to mount the GPS. I'm 5'3" and lowered the bike, so I prefer the handlebar for visibility. Or is better to mount above the dash? I think that will block most of my screen. Any tips on placement and any GPS setups you can recommend?

Same height here, lowered mine too. Handlebar mount works best, above the dash blocked too much. RAM mount's solid and easy to adjust.

Mounting GPS above the dash is a design flaw, manufacturers prioritize looks over rider ergonomics. For shorter riders, handlebar mounts are way safer and more practical. It's shocking how many bikes ignore real user comfort just to look sleek on showroom floors.

yeah, I agree with @neonleon for your height and the handlebars, a RAM Mount is probably your best bet.
They're super adjustable and you can get a long arm to position the GPS exactly where you need it.
my advice is to be aware of a few things, like on the handlebars, the GPS is a bit more exposed to the elements, and it can be a little shakier than a solid dash mount.
The main problem is that it's a longer look down from the road, which can be a safety issue. But with the right RAM arm, you can get it positioned just right to avoid blocking the dash while still being easy to see
