One small tip that's made a big difference for me is greasing the round rubber grommets where the fairing pins slide in, most people probably know this or not..I don know but I used a dab of silicone grease, and it seriously makes pulling the panels off and putting them back on way smoother, usually and otherrwise I'd have to wrestle with stuck pins or be worrying I'm going to tear something when trying to get a fairing loose, so yeah if you're doing regular maintenance or just like keeping things clean behind the plastics, it's totally worth the two minute effort, made a world of difference on my 650

That's a smart tip, I'll definitely try that! Curious though, do you reapply the silicone grease often or just once in a while?
